Monkey Wrench Ep 4 - Progress update

Hey Newgrounds, been a smidge.

Currently hard at work on the storyboard part of Ep 4. Currently almost at 18 mins. Looks like this one is gonna be another monster. Enjoy some stills below~

In other news we've pretty much burnt through our initial savings with Eps 1, 2 and 3 and are currently coasting off Patreon support and our itty bitty merch store.

If we want to return to fully animated episodes we need to hit a total income goal of $10k a month. We're currently at a total of $6.2k and only have $3.8k to go. If we can hit that goal by June we should be set to have Ep 4 fully animated. If you like our nonsense and have a dollar to spare consider checking out our Patreon.

Probably the best part Monkey Wrench's animations is the use of dynamic, exaggerated perspective. A lot of 2D artists seem to forget that just because they're not working in 3D software it doesn't excuse them from doing fancy camera angles and making the 2D drawings look as "3D" as possible. Many classic Disney animations still blow my mind for this reason, they look so "3-Dimensional" at times and I have to remind myself that Blender didn't even exist in the 1930's and '40's.

...So PLEASE support this show as much you can! Never has a show, indie or otherwise, clicked with my particular interests so closely! I can't give more than the $25 a month I already give now!
